Bar Crawl & LGBT Mentoring

1) Cardozo LGBT Mentoring Program: Sign up!

Mentors are invaluable to law students, and there are currently no LGBT mentoring programs in the City or at Cardozo. OUTlaw is determined to change this, with your help. Please sign up to mentor a LGBT Cardozo student. It's a small time commitment: 3-5 hours a month. We are also planning a sponsored reception for mentors and mentees.

If you're interested in being a mentor, please email leggett@yu.edu with your name, email address, phone number, practice area, current job position, Cardozo class year, undergrad and class year, and current location. We'll pair you up with a mentee, give you their information, and then the mentee will contact you.

If you're interested in being a mentee, please email soriano@yu.edu with your name, email address, phone number, desired practice area, Cardozo class year, and undergrad and class year. We'll pair you up with a mentor and give you their contact information.

2) Bar Crawl: Friday, October 10th from 10 p.m. onwards

We're throwing a bar crawl in Hell's Kitchen this Friday!

Therapy 10-11 (348 W. 52nd St at 9th Ave)
Barrage 11-12 for $4 happy hour drinks (401 W. 47th St at 9th Ave)
Vlada 12-1 (331 W. 51st St b/t 8th & 9th Aves)
Ritz 1-Exhaustion (369 W. 46th St b/t 8th & 9th Ave)

While none of these places have cover charges, they skew male, so we need the alumnae there to help even the score.
